Group Classes

All Tempo group classes are appropriate for both couples and singles - you never need a partner to attend any Tempo dance events or activities! Unless otherwise noted, classes are drop-in. If you are unsure about which classes are right for you, get in touch with us or you can even stop in and observe a class before attending.

Beginner Classes

Beginner Dance Drop-Ins (Mondays and Fridays 7 to 8 pm, Wednesdays Noon & 7 to 8 pm)
Our beginner group classes are ideal for students who are completely new to dancing or for those who have prior dance experience but want a review or wish to learn the basics of a new dance.
Classes are drop-in (unless otherwise noted) and a different dance is featured each class. You will learn basic steps to the dance, how to lead or follow and dance the steps to music. Dances repeat regularly so if you miss one or need to come several times to the same one, you’ll be able to catch it when it repeats.

COST: $40 per person; payment and registration for the full series on the first day of class.
